Caron Butler plans to sign with the Thunder when he clears waivers, according to ESPN's Brian Windhorst. Butler also has been linked to the Heat.
The Bucks requested waivers on Butler on Thursday after agreeing to terms on a contract buyout.
The 33-year-old two-time All-Star could provide the Thunder an alternative matchup against more physical wings. In 34 appearances this season for the Bucks, he has averaged 11 points on 38 percent shooting and 4.6 rebounds in 24 minutes per game.
