Marquette has hired Duke associate head basketball coach Steve Wojciechowski, according to Jeff Goodman of ESPN.com.
The Durham Sunreported Monday that Wojciechowski was interviewing for the position left vacant on March 21 when Buzz Williams left for Virginia Tech.
Wojciechowski, 37, has been on Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski's staff during two national championship runs and was a U.S. Olympics assistant coach in Beijing. He played guard for the Blue Devils from 1994-98 and was team captain as a senior.
