Yankees' Ivan Nova left his start Saturday early with soreness in his right elbow. For now, it's unclear what the cause of his elbow issue is.
He's going to undergo further tests to determine the cause of his soreness. He allowed eight earned runs in four innings before his departure Saturday.
He pitched a good game on April 13 against the Red Sox, surrendering two runs on eight hits over 7 1/3 strong innings.
Prior to Saturday night's game, he had a 5.94 ERA. After his four innings Saturday, his ERA inflated to 8.27.
Nova left the game with right elbow soreness. Will undergo further tests.
