Aaron Hernandez has been indicted on charges related to an assault that occurred while the former Patriots tight end was in jail, Adam Schefter reported Thursday.
A Bristol County grand jury indicted Hernandez on charges of assault and battery stemming from a jailhouse fight on February 25, and threats to do bodily harm, which occurred on November 1. Hernandez's arraignment for the new charges has not yet been set.
At the time of the attack, Bristol County Sheriff Thomas Hodgson confirmed the incident but did not go into detail.

Hernandez is being held in the Bristol County House of Corrections on first-degree murder charges related to the death of Odin Lloyd in June 2013. Hernandez has been accused of pulling the trigger in an execution-style shooting and then dumping the body roughly a mile from his North Attleboro, Mass. home. Hernandez has pleaded not guilty.
In January, Hernandez was also linked to a double-homicide from 2012. In mid-April, reports surfaced that Hernandez was facing investigation for allegedly threatening a guard at the facility.
