New York Mets' outfielder Eric Young, Jr. was taken to a local hospital for X-rays on Sunday after a batting practice ball hit by first baseman Lucas Duda ricocheted off a screen and hit Young under the right eye, according to Adam Rubin of ESPNNewYork.com.
Young had been scheduled to make his first start in four games in the Mets' afternoon game against the Colorado Rockies, but has been replaced in the lineup by Juan Lagares.
