Jamal Jones, Texas A&M's leading scorer last season, has announced that he will be leaving the school for his "next opportunity", according to Brent Zwerneman of MySA.com.
Jones led the team in scoring with 13.4 points per game in his first season with Texas A&M. The junior began his college career at Ole Miss, where he saw limited playing time as a freshman, before transferring to Lee College and then finally heading to College Station to join the Aggies.
The announcement came via Jones' Twitter page, where he thanked his friends and former teammates and wished A&M good luck in the future. He did not give any indication as to whether he had decided to transfer to another school.
