Spurs' Tony Parker leaves game with hamstring injury

San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker left Game 5 of the team's Western Conference semifinal series against the Portland Trail Blazers in the second quarter with tightness in his left hamstring, according to Jeff McDonald of the San Antonio Express-News.

Parker was taken back to the locker room where medical staff members tended to the injury.  The team announced the former Finals MVP will not be able to return for the game's second half.

Parker received extensive rest from coach Gregg Popovich in the second half of the season. He's sat out 11 games since the New Year, including a stretch of six straight in February, for what the coach called "various maladies."
