The Cleveland Cavaliers are slated to interview Clippers assistant Tyronn Lue for their head coaching job late next week, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports.
The 37-year-old Lue played 10 seasons with the NBA for eight teams, and won two championships in 2000 and 2001 with the Los Angeles Lakers. Having spent five years under Doc Rivers with the Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Clippers, Lue is considered a top young coaching prospect.
The Cavaliers job has been attracting a variety of potential coaches since Cleveland won its third draft lottery in four years.
