The particulars and contract terms on this side of the Atlantic Ocean may still be in the works, but AS Roma wasted little time in confirming what seemed like an impossibility a little more than 24 hours ago: U.S. national team fulcrum Michael Bradley is returning to MLS.
Roma posted an announcement on its official website claiming that the U.S. midfielder has been sold outright to MLS for $10 million. Bradley is expected to be headed to Toronto FC, returning to the league where he got his start as a professional in 2004 with the New York/New Jersey MetroStars.

Bradley had originally been included in Roma's matchday squad for Thursday's 1-0 Coppa Italia win over Sampdoria, but he was replaced by new signing Radja Nainggolan. After the match, Roma manager Rudi Garcia confirmed to reporters that Bradley was on his way out from the club, before the Giallorossi made their official announcement.
