Nike typically swings for the fences with its soccer ads, and with the 2014 World Cup all of seven weeks away, it continued to do so with its latest release.
U.S. men's national team goalkeeper Tim Howard is among a star-studded crew in the new feature, one that also includes Cristiano Ronaldo (and a cameo by girlfriend and SI Swimsuit model Irina Shayk), Neymar, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Andrea Pirlo, Eden Hazard and Wayne Rooney, among others. Even LA Lakers star Kobe Bryant, a known soccer aficionado, gets into the act.
As for Howard's appearance, he is depicted as the Incredible Hulk while making a save before facing off with Ronaldo on a penalty kick (can you imagine if that scenario takes place on June 22 in Manaus?) until Ronaldo gives way to a different PK taker. Watch how it all unfolds for yourself:
