Neymar had the weight of a nation on his shoulders entering the World Cup, and much like he did in last summer's FIFA Confederations Cup, he has embraced that pressure and put Brazil on his back.

Neymar scored two more goals Monday, taking the lead in the Golden Boot race and sparking Brazil's 4-1 win over Cameroon, which sealed the host nation's place atop Group A. Brazil will meet Chile in the round of 16 for the second straight World Cup on Saturday.

Neymar got started in the 17th minute -- mere minutes after being the recipient of a two-handed shove out of bounds by Allan Nyam -- one-timing home a cross from Luis Gustavo. After Cameroon's Joel Matip scored a shock equalizer moments later (actually putting Brazil on the brink of elimination had it lost and the Croatia-Mexico result held at 0-0), Neymar struck again. The 22-year-old took a pass from Marcelo, cut centrally, then pulled a low, right-footed shot inside the near post as goalkeeper Charles Itandje dove the wrong way for his fourth goal of the competition.

Much like for Argentina counterpart Lionel Messi, it's hard to imagine where Brazil would be without Neymar's contributions. He has four of Brazil's seven goals (Fred and Fernandinho, Monday's other scorers, and Oscar have the others), and has often looked like the Selecao's lone reliable attacking threat.
