Report: USA to play Ireland in international friendly

The United States Men's National Team will head overseas to play an international friendly with the Republic of Ireland, the Irish Independent reports.

According to the report, the teams will play on Nov. 18. A location was not reported, but according to Dan Karell of Soccer by Ives, it would likely take place in Dublin’s Aviva Stadium, which has a capacity of 51,700.

Ranked 13th in the world, the visitors are likely to include English Premier League stars Tim Howard, Brad Guzan, and Geoff Cameron, as well as Clint Dempsey and Michael Bradley, in their squad.

The two nations have met eight previous times, but have not played since April 2002, when Ireland won 2-1 in Dublin.

The U.S. Men's National Team already has an international friendly scheduled for Sep. 3 in the Czech Republic.
