Spain men's national team schedule: upcoming fixtures
Spain men's national team
The Spain men's national team suffered a devastating finish in the 2014 FIFA World Cup, despite entering the tournament on a legendary cup winning streak. Spain began their journey with a lopsided, 5-1 defeat to Netherlands, and when they dropped a 2-0 decision to Chile in the next match, the team was eliminated before even reaching the knockout stage. Despite the lack of success in Brazil, Vicente Del Bosque will continue as the manager through the 2016 European Championship.
With the World Cup in the rear view mirror, Spain will aim to get back on a winning path, and they still have plenty of talent to operate with. European Championship qualifying is on the horizon, and because Spain enters as the defending champion after defeating Italy 4-0 in the 2012 final, expectations remain incredibly high.
