Crystal Palace finished the 2013-14 season in 11th place in the Barclays Premier League.

During the offseason, Crystal Palace signed striker Marouane Chamakh to a new contract and goalkeeper Julian Speroni to a new one-year deal. The club also signed Brede Hangeland and Chris Kettings on free transfers.
