Netherlands to host Mexico in World Cup Round of 16 rematch

Mexico and Netherlands will play a friendly in Amsterdam on Nov. 12, the Mexican soccer federation announced Wednesday.
The game will be a rematch of the teams' dramatic meeting in the FIFA World Cup Round of 16 earlier this summer. Mexico took a 1-0 lead shortly after halftime and led until the 88th minute, when the Netherlands' Wesley Sneijder scored to tie the game. Several minutes later, Arjen Robben drew a penalty and Klaas Jan Huntelaar converted the penalty shot in stoppage time to give the Netherlands a 2-1 win.
