ESPN has reached an agreement with FOX to show UEFA Champions League matches through the 2017-18 season, ESPN announced Friday.
While FOX is the primary rights holder, ESPN Deportes have exclusive Spanish-language broadcast rights to 72 matches on television and radio.

ESPN will also have non-exclusive rights to English-language broadcasts of 68 playoff round and group stage matches on ESPN3.

This is a great opportunity to continue engaging avid soccer fans and inviting in new ones after the unprecedented success of the World Cup in Brazil,” Scott Guglielmino, ESPN senior vice president of programming, said in a statement. “We are pleased to work with FOX Sports to deliver the world’s most prestigious club soccer tournament and we look forward to showcasing some of the sport’s best players and most important clubs.”
