Manchester United's Marcos Rojo receives UK visa, available to play

Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo has been granted a UK visa, the club announced Thursday. He will be available against Queens Park Rangers.

Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo has been granted a United Kingdom visa, the club announced Thursday.

Rojo, 24, joined United from Portuguese side Sporting CP in August for a €20 million transfer fee. He has also played for Spartak Moscow and Estudiantes de La Plata.

Rojo competes internationally for Argentina. He scored one goal in the 2014 World Cup and helped Argentina reach the final. 

According to the club, Rojo will be available for United's Sept. 14 match against Queens Park Rangers.

Under new manager Louis van Gaal, Manchester United has tallied two points in three matches so far this season.
