Champions League fixtures: Schedule, TV coverage, live stream

Champions League group stage competition begins Tuesday. Real Madrid won the league last year after defeating Atlético Madrid 4-1 in May's final. No team has won repeat European championships since AC Milan in 1989 and 1990. Group play continues through December, when the top two teams from each group advance to the knockout phase.

UEFA Champions League group stage competition begins Tuesday as several big clubs get the 2014/15 campaign underway.

Real Madrid won the Champions League last year after defeating Atlético Madrid 4-1 in May's final. No team has won repeat European championships since AC Milan in 1989 and 1990. 

Group play continues through December, when the top two teams from each group advance to the knockout phase. 

All of Tuesday's matches begin at 7:45 p.m. BST/2:45 p.m. ET. All games can be streamed live on FOX Soccer 2 Go (U.S.), WatchESPN (Spanish), and Sky Go App (U.K). Additional streams and TV coverage is listed below each game.

Juventus v Malmö	A	Juventus Arena

Last year, Juventus failed to win any of their opening four Champions League games. They won just one match in their six group stage games and did not advance to the knockout stage of the competition.

Juventus has a new manager, Massimiliano Allegri, who replaced former coach Antonio Conte this summer.

This is Malmö's first time playing in the Champions League group stage.

Olympiacos v Atlético Madrid	A	Karaiskakis Stadium

Atlético Madrid made it to the Champions League final last season before losing to Real Madrid.

Last year, Olympiacos made it to the last 16. The club beat Manchester United 2-0 at home, but then lost 3-0 in the second leg.

Liverpool v Ludogorets	B	Anfield

Liverpool is playing in the Champions League for the first time in five years.

Ludogorets had to sign Canadian free agent Milan Borjan on Sunday to start in goal after Vladislav Stoyanov was suspended after he was sent off against Steaua Bucharest. Backup goalie Ivan Cvorovic injured his shoulder in training and will miss the game.

Last year, Real Madrid beat Atlético Madrid to win the Champions League.

Basel did not make it out of the group stages in last year's Champions League. The club finished third in Group E with eight points.

Benfica v Zenit St. Petersburg	C	Estadio da Luz

Zenit is currently at the top of the table in the Russian Premier League this season. They finished one point behind CSKA Moscow last year.

Benfica is unbeaten in its first four league games and are at the top of their league with 10 points. On Friday, the club beat Vitoria Setubal, 5-0.

Monaco v Leverkusen	C	Stade Louis II

Monaco is playing in the Champions League for the first time in eight years. So far in Ligue 1 play, the club is in 19th place. Monaco lost to 2-1 to Lyon on Saturday.

Leverkusen, on the other hand, leads the Bundesliga. The club has won five out of six games this season.

Borussia Dortmund v Arsenal	D	Signal Iduna Park

Arsenal is playing in the Champions League for the 17th season in a row. They qualified after a play-off victory over Besiktas in August. They drew the first leg and won the second 1-0.

Arsenal made it to the round of 16 last season before losing to Bayern Munich, 3-1.

Last year, Dortmund lost to Real Madrid in the quarterfinals. They lost 3-0 on the road, and won 2-0 at home in the second leg.

Galatasaray v Anderlecht	D	Turk Telekom Arena

Galatasaray reached the last 16 last season, and in the year before, made it to the quarterfinals. They have a new manager, Cesare Prandelli, who previously managed the Italian national team. He resigned after the team lost 1-0 to Uruguay at the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

Last year, Anderlecht finished at the bottom of Group C with one point after failing to win a match.
