FIFA-appointed investigator and former U.S. attorney Michael Garcia completed an investigation last month into the awarding of the 2018 and 2022 World Cups to Russia and Qatar, respectively.

FIFA will release the investigation's findings by mid-November. The full report will not be made public, but FIFA will release a statement assessing the documents, which will include "conclusions and recommendations of the report, as well as a brief evaluation of the same."

The 2014 World Cup was held in Brazil and was won by Germany.
