Watch: James Rodriguez just scored the most beautiful 15-yard volley ever
I think it's about time we consider calling 2014 The Year Of James.
Colombian star James Rodriguez gave us another reason to do so on Saturday, finishing off a beautiful sequence for Real Madrid's second goal in its match against Granada. The play began innocuously enough -- with a throw in near the penalty area. Karim Benzema soon made it dangerous, though, running on to the throw and flicking a rainbow-like ball to Rodriguez in the box. James took care of the rest...with a single touch of the ball. But what a touch it was:
This isn't the first time Rodriguez has displayed a devastating efficiency of attacking touches this year. The Colombian set up a nice Cristiano Ronaldo goal in the Champions League a couple weeks ago. Oh, and there was also some little strike in some little game in some little tournament in Brazil earlier this year. Not a bad run, James. Not bad at all.
