Watch: Alejandro Bedoya's long-range golazo gives Nantes lead vs. PSG

One might have assumed that if somebody was going to score an amazing goal in the Nantes-Paris Saint-Germain game on Saturday, it would be PSG's serial golazo artist Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Instead, American midfielder Alejandro Bedoya provided the highlight. Bedoya is one of the few remaining Americans getting consistent playing time in Europe these days, and he made his presence known with a superb goal against one of the biggest clubs on the continent. Just eight minutes into the match, Bedoya unleashed a ferocious strike from outside the box to beat goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu and put Nantes on top of the Ligue 1 title challengers.

The goal is Bedoya's first in 12 appearances for Nantes this season, and his fifth in Ligue 1 overall.
