U.S. defender Oguchi Onyewu extends contract with Charlton Athletic
USA defender Oguchi Onyewu extended his contract with Charlton Atlantic through June 1, 2015.
USA defender Oguchi Onyewu extended his contract with Charlton Atlantic, the club announced Monday.
Onyewu will now be with club until June 1 after signing with the team on a short-term deal in October following defender Michael Morrison leaving on loan to Birmingham City.

Onyewu, 32, has played for Newcastle United, AC Milan, Sporting Lisbon and Málaga. He has 69 caps for the United States and has made two appearances as a substitute this season for Charlton.
Charlton has 31 points in the Championship Table this season. Charlton’s next match is Tuesday against Ipswich Town.
