Mexican international Miguel Layun leaves Club America for Granada

Mexican defender Miguel Layún has left Liga MX side Club America and signed with La Liga club Granada, Club America announced Tuesday.
Layun will be loaned to Watford in England's second division until the end of the season, Granada announced.
Layún, 26, had played for Club America since 2010. He began his career with Veracruz, his hometown club, and spent part of one season in Italy's Serie A with Atalanta in 2009.

Club America won the Liga MX first half championship this season. Layún scored four goals in a 4-1 win over Santos Laguna in September.
Layún has made 22 appearances internationally for Mexico and scored three goals. He started all four games for El Tri at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
