Klinsmann names USMNT roster for first training camp of 2015
U.S. men’s national team head coach Jurgen Klinsmann has named the 28 players who will participate in the team's first training camp of 2015.
The camp will run from Jan. 12 to Feb. 8 and will be held in two continents. The USMNT will spend 12 days in Carson, Calif., before heading to Santiago in Chile for training from Jan. 25-29.
It will all lead up to the U.S.'s first friendly of the year, a Jan. 28 matchup against Chile in Rancagua. On Feb. 8, the USMNT will take on Panama in a friendly at the StubHub Center in Carson, Calif.

Seven members of the roster were also a part of the team that reached the Round of 16 at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, including Clint Dempsey, Michael Bradley and Jermaine Jones.
"The prize in 2015 for the senior National Team is the Gold Cup, and this camp will give a lot of our players a chance to kick start their preparations for an important year," Klinsmann said. "We also get an opportunity to introduce the next wave of young players into the program, and in particular work with many of our Olympic-age guys as they build toward qualifying for the 2016 Olympics in Rio."
