Watch: USMNT forward Bobby Wood scores twice for Erzgebirge Aue

In his second game on loan with Erzgebirge Aue, U.S. Men's National Team forward Bobby Wood had the breakthrough he's been looking for all season.
For Klinsmann's USMNT, balancing Mia San Mia, ambition no simple task
Wood scored twice in the first half of Erzgebirge Aue's clash with Fortuna Dusseldorf in 2. Bundesliga action Friday, his first goals since May 19, 2013, when he scored for 1860 Munich against Aalen. Wood had been in a bit of club purgatory and also battled injury during his dry spell, but that didn't prevent him from being called into three U.S. men's national team camps in the fall and again in January.
The 22-year-old Wood started the USA's 3-2 loss to Chile but then departed winter camp to finalize his loan from 1860 to Erzgebirge Aue.
In the early going, it looks like the move has paid off. It took Wood 15 minutes to get on the scoresheet Friday, completing a deep run into the center of the box and finishing off cross from Stefan Mugosa on a breakaway with a one-timed effort to break his drought:
Goal Wood - Düsseldorf 0-1 Aue - 13-02-2015
He didn't have to do much to double his contribution in the 31st minute, finishing off service from Patrick Schonfeld in the center of the box again, one-timing a right-footed shot from close range:
Goal Wood - Düsseldorf 1-2 Aue - 13-02-2015
Erzgebirge Aue, which, like Wood's parent club 1860, is mired in a relegation fight, next plays Feb. 20 against Darmstadt 98.
