Seattle Sounders’ Clint Dempsey tops list for best-selling MLS jerseys

Seattle Sounders striker Clint Dempsey tops the list for the best-selling MLS jerseys for the second consecutive year.

For the second consecutive year, Seattle Sounders striker Clint Dempsey topped MLS’s list of best-selling jerseys. 

The rankings were based on the overall sales of jerseys on MLSstore.com since the start of the 2015 season.

LA Galaxy midfielder Steven Gerrard came in second and Kaká of Orlando City SC was third. 

New York City FC had four players in the top 10 of sales, with Andrea Pirlo finishing fourth and David Villa coming in fifth. Frank Lampard took the seventh spot, and rounding out the top 10 was Mix Diskerud. 

Dempsey was joined by teammate Obafemi Martins in the top 10, as the forward was sixth on the list.
