Landon Donovan joins David Beckham’s charity match
David Beckham will captain a team of players from Great Britain and Ireland in a star-studded charity match on Nov. 14 to benefit UNICEF, and retired US soccer star Landon Donovan will be among the notable participants.
Beckham, an ambassador for UNICEF, helped recruit players such as Zinedine Zidane, Ronaldhino and Luis Figo to play in the match, which has already sold out.
Beckham has helped UNICEF promote and protect children’s rights over the past decade, raising awareness around the world about the many dangers they face.
