Report: PSG’s Serge Aurier suspended for insulting coach, teammates
Paris Saint-Germain defender Serge Aurier has been suspended by the club after insulting coach Laurent Blanc and teammates over social media, according to French outlet L’Equipe.
Aurier was reportedly told to not attend team training on Sunday and it remains to be seen if he will be suspended for the club’s Champions League match against Chelsea on Tuesday.
The incident occurred while Aurier was conducting a Q&A with fans over Periscope.
Aurier reportedly used homophobic slurs when asked about the relationship between his coach and star player Zlatan Imbrahimovic. He also directed insults at goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu and full back Gregory Van der Wiel.

Aurier initially claimed that the video was a month old and fake, but later confirmed that the insults were genuine, reports Pierre Menes of Canal Plus.
The Ivory Coast-national has been an important part of Blanc’s roster this season, making 19 appearances so far. He signed a four-year contract with the club in April 2015 after spending 2014 in Paris on loan from Toulouse.
