Watch: Harry Kane scores stunning goal in Spurs-Arsenal draw
Arsenal was leading Tottenham 1-0 at White Hart Lane, and things were taking on a familiar feeling for Spurs fans, who have seen their team finish behind Arsenal in the league table for 20 straight years. And then a turn of events turned the latest North London derby–which ended 2-2–on its head.
Moments after a red card to Arsenal's Francis Coquelin, Tottenham canceled out Aaron Ramsey's sensational back-heel-flick goal through Toby Alderweireld, and moments later, Harry Kane delivered a moment of magic.
Kane's brilliant, curled, right-footed strike gave Tottenham a 2-1 lead over the 10-men Gunners and put Spurs en route to (at least provisionally) take first place this late in a season for the first time since 1964. Kane's effort eluded a flying David Ospina–starting in place of the injured Petr Cech–and it capped a quick-hitting span of two goals in two minutes.

Tottenham relented, though. Much maligned Alexis Sanchez scored his first league goal since October 17 to equalize in the 76th minute.
The result pulled Spurs within two of Leicester, prior to the Foxes' match at Watford later in the day. Arsenal remains three points behind Tottenham, sitting in third place in the Premier League table.
