Manchester United are bound for the FA cup final, after Anthony Martial scored a stoppage-time goal for a late 2–1 lead over Everton.

It was a hectic end to a hectic game, the 20-year-old Martial taking the ball in the box late, splitting the defense and slotting into the bottom-right corner to seal up the victory.

Reviewing the rest of what happened: Marouane Fellaini opened the scoring in the 33rd minute off a diagonal-back from Martial, giving United a 1–0 lead.

Early in the second half, David De Gea made a pivotal penalty save to deny Romelo Lukaku a tying goal.

In the 64th minute, an handball went uncalled on Phil Jagielka that could have given United another chance to score.

Everton would tie things up off a Chris Smalling deflected own-goal in the 75th minute.

United advances to the FA Cup to face the winner of Watford and Crystal Palace.
