Real Salt Lake goalkeeper Nick Rimando has made a number of incredible saves in his career, but what he did Saturday night might just be the best of the bunch.

Rimando made a remarkable double save against the Houston Dynamo, denying Leonel Miranda and Andrew Wenger to preserve a 2-1 win at Rio Tinto Stadium.

The 36-year-old Rimando pushed Miranda's shot off the post with a diving, instinct save, somehow managing to get enough of a hand on his shot. The rebound fell to the doorstep for Wenger, whose blast met Rimando's face before ricocheting away and out of play.

Miranda had opened the scoring in the 54th minute, but Jordan Allen and Yura Movsisyan scored in the 62nd and 70th minutes, respectively, to give the hosts the lead. Rimando's heroics took place in the 80th minute and ensured RSL would improve to 5-1-2 on the season.

RSL is tied with the rival Colorado Rapids and FC Dallas with 17 points to lead all MLS teams, though RSL has accrued them in eight games while Colorado has played nine and FC Dallas has played 10.
