Leicester City finally lifted the Premier League trophy after Saturday’s 3–1 win at home over Everton.
The King Power Stadium was essentially a massive party all day, with a soccer game breaking out in the middle. There was free beer and pizza for fans. Leicester’s result was mathematically irrelevant. Everyone was happy, Andrea Bocelli sang before the game, and it was a day no Leicester fan will ever forget. Everton opened by giving their opponents a customary Guard of Honor. It’s a fitting end to an incredible season.
The victory lap continued as the team hoisted the trophy postgame, led by captain Wes Morgan.
Manager Claudio Ranieri received his first-ever winner’s medal in a 28-year managerial career.

Jamie Vardy, back in action after his two-game suspension, opened the scoring early.
Andy King, who assisted Vardy’s goal, scored one of his own in the first half. King is the last player remaining from Leicester’s 2008 team that competed in the third tier.
Vardy scored a second on a second-half penalty kick following a foul in the box.
It wasn't all glory for Vardy, who fired over the bar on a chance to complete his hat trick (and pull level with Harry Kane in the race for the golden boot) with another spot kick.
