France has selected the 23 players charged with winning this summer's Euro 2016 on home soil.

Paul Pogba, Antoine Griezmann, Kingsley Coman, Dimitri Payet and Anthony Martial are on Didier Deschamps's squad, which opens Euro 2016 against Romania on June 10.

Leicester City star midfielder N'Golo Kante completes his mercurial ascent by securing a place on the team, while Raphael Varane and Jeremy Mathieu will be among the defenders lining up ahead of Hugo Lloris in goal. 

Karim Benzema was not called, as expected, with Deschamps stating long ago he wouldn't be calling on the Real Madrid forward after his sex-tape blackmail case with Mathieu Valbuena.
