Jamaica and Venezuela square off at Soldier Field in Chicago, Ill. to open their 2016 Copa America Centenario campaigns.
The two sides are joined by Mexico and Uruguay in Group C. Jamaica enters with one of the better defenses in the tournament, which helped the team to the CONCACAF Gold Cup final last year, and is led by Leicester City’s Wes Morgan, although he will miss the opening match of the competition. While the Jamaicans are on the rise, Venezuela is still searching for success. The team has never made a World Cup, though it has been to the Copa America quarters twice.
