Jamaica center back and captain Wes Morgan will miss his team’s Copa America group stage game against Venezuela on Sunday, manager Winfried Schafer said.

Morgan, who is also the captain of Premier League champion Leicester City, is reportedly still tired from leading the club to its first EPL title and celebrating the achievement.

“Our team is complete. Wes Morgan has come, but he is tired; that is clear. All week, he has not trained. He partied in London and Thailand, but I am very happy he is here and maybe he can help (play) in the second match, but not the first match because it is too difficult,” Schafer told the The Sunday Gleaner

Morgan, 32, helped Jamaica to a second-place finish in the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup.

Jamaica is paired with Venezuela, Mexico and Uruguay in its Copa America group.
