Italian Journalist Claims 'Positive Talks' Have Been Held Regarding Ivan Perisic's Move to Man Utd
'Positive talks' have been held over the possibility of a loan move for Anthony Martial to Inter Milan, which would help seal the deal with Ivan Perisic to Manchester United.
The French star has been linked with a temporary switch to the San Siro in the past few days, and could be the key to the Red Devils finally getting the deal for Croatian star Perisic over the line.
Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio claims via his official website that Inter have been informed that Martial is open to the move.
The Nerazzurri have been playing hard ball over Perisic this transfer window, rejecting United's latest bid of just under £40m plus add-ons.
They want to ensure that they have a direct replacement for the 28-year-old before actually letting him leave, and have also been linked with a move for Lazio's Keita Balde Diao.
The Senegal winger is apparently the top priority, but as Di Marzio says, Martial is also very much in the picture.
Martial enjoyed a hugely successful first season at Old Trafford under Louis van Gaal, but has found life tougher under Jose Mourinho.
The Frenchman was often overlooked at the beginning of last season but gradually began to force his way back into the Portuguese tactician's plans.
