West Ham forward Javier Hernandez has responded to talk of him leaving West Ham in January, declaring he will not be leaving the club.

The Mexican only arrived in the summer from Bayer Leverkusen, quite a coup for the club at £16m, but the Hammers have so far under-performed this year, sparking rumours he wants to depart the club.

The 29-year-old hasn't had the best start to life back in England, following his previous record at Manchester United, only scoring three goals so far this season.

Reports in Spain claimed that he is unhappy at the club and that he would be looking to cut his stay short in London, to be closer to his girlfriend.

On Saturday evening, the Mexican quashed the rumours once and for all and tweeted that he is very happy at West Ham, and he will NOT be leaving.

Positive news for Hammers fans. There won't be another Dimitri Payet situation this time around.
