Watford Forward Isaac Success Reveals Injury on Twitter But Hints at Imminent Return
Watford striker Isaac Success has taken to Twitter to post a photo of himself in a hospital bed with his leg in a cast.
The Nigeria international looked to reassure fans that he will soon be back in action, but it appears he could be set for a spell on the sidelines.
It's not clear how Success sustained the injury, or the extent of it, but he did not seem overly concerned.
"10 DAYS LESS," he wrote. "FEW WEEKS LEFT. GOD IS GREAT...SOON BE BACK. GOODNIGHT FANS."
Perhaps more worryingly, there are a pair of crutches by the side of the bed. Watford fans will be hopeful that the 21-year-old is not out for a prolonged period.
But Success has struggled to establish himself since arriving at Vicarage Road, and last weekend hit the headlines having been arrested for allegations of assault.
The Sun reported that he paid £2,000 to spend the night with four escorts, but angrily demanded the money back.
Success signed for Watford from Spanish side Granada for £12.5m last July but he has so far been unable to establish himself in the starting lineup.
He has scored just once in 19 appearances since joining the club, and sat out his side's 2-0 victory against Watford last month before the incident in London which culminated in his arrest.
