Club Brugge Star Midfielder 'Dreams' of Premier League Move to Please His Parents
Zimbabwean midfielder Marvelous Nakamba recently won Club Brugge's Player of the Month award and has been considered a revelation for the Belgian side since joining from Dutch team Vitesse.
Nakamba earned the nickname "Bulldozer from Bulawayo" at his former club, but Het Nieuwsblad believes that there is much more to this young midfielder's game than just his strength.
The Belgian news outlet also see the technical aspect of his game, with a few tricks that benefit his team.
Despite only being a matter of months into his Club Brugge career, he has his eyes set on where he wants to be in the future: Premier League giants Liverpool.
Nakamba's father is a huge Liverpool fan, and all that the Zimbabwean wants to do is make his parent's happy, saying that he would describe it as his 'dream' to play for the Reds.
Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool side already has depth in the centre of midfield. Henderson, Can and Wijnaldum has been the starting three-man central midfield this season, however they still have the likes of Oxlade-Chamberlain and Grujic on the bench, as well as Adam Lallana who is still nursing an injury.
And if that isn't enough, Liverpool have agreed a deal in principal for RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita for around £40m, so we may not see Marvelous Nakamba fulfil his dream any time soon.
But at the rate the 23-year-old is going in the Belgian League, it won't be long before he is looked at by Europe's top clubs, and we may see the "Bulldozer" in the Premier League sooner rather than later.
