Atletico Madrid Thrashes Real Madrid in 10-Goal ICC Thriller

Atletico Madrid blitzed rivals Real Madrid in the first half of their International Champions Cup match on Friday, sprinting to a 5-0 lead through 45 minutes at MetLife Stadium. Atleti was then able to hold off a late rally from Real to claim a 7-3 win in the preseason Madrid Derby in New Jersey
Diego Costa started the scoring for Atletico Madrid with a goal in the first minute of play on Friday, and recent transfer Joao Felix scored his first goal with Atletico six minutes later.

Real Madrid scored two late goals in the final minutes and even brought on Gareth Bale, who has been heavily rumored to be moving to China, but it wasn't enough, as a poor first half doomed the team to take a loss.
Atletico Madrid entered Friday's match 1–0–1 in the ICC while Real Madrid earned its second loss of the tournament after losing to Bayern Munich on July 20.
