Cristiano Ronaldo is closing in on another milestone–and he took a step closer to reaching the men's all-time international goal record in the process.

Ronaldo pulled with 15 of Iranian great Ali Daei with the 94th international goal of his career as part of Portugal's 3-0 win over Luxembourg in Euro 2020 qualifying on Friday. The goal also brought Ronaldo within one of 700 for his career for club and country.

Ronaldo opted for the cheeky for No. 699, chipping into the back of the net after a poor giveaway gifted him the opportunity.

Ronaldo will have a chance to strike for No. 700 on Monday, when Portugal plays at Ukraine in another Euro qualifier.

Portugal currently trails Ukraine for first by five points in their group–but has a game in hand–while it leads third-place Serbia by four points. The top two teams in each group automatically qualify for next summer's tournament, while Portugal also has the safety net of at the very least appearing in a playoff round due to its group triumph in the first UEFA Nations League, which Portugal also won this past summer.
