Brazil Stars React to Making World Cup Roster With Emotional Celebrations

The Brazilian national team announced its 26-man roster for the 2022 World Cup on Monday, leading to some epic reactions from players.

Brazil has announced its 26-man roster for the upcoming World Cup, and the players who were issued a ticket to Qatar made sure to celebrate.

In a country with as much talent and competition as Brazil, making the World Cup team represents a career milestone for any player involved, especially when the Seleção are one of the favorites to win

The roster includes usual standouts like Neymar, Thiago Silva and Casemiro, but it also has plenty of talented newcomers. After completing a high-profile move to Manchester United over the summer, Antony continued a memorable year with his first World Cup call-up at 22 years old, which left him emotional as he watched the announcement.

There was no surprise that Neymar made the team, but the PSG forward still took time to celebrate his inclusion ahead of his third World Cup.

Tottenham forward Richarlison was also included in his first World Cup squad, which set off a raucous living room celebration.

Flamengo striker Pedro may have stolen the show by following up his call-up by proposing to his partner.

Straight off a Copa Libertadores title, Flamengo’s Éverton Ribeiro’s memorable year continued with a soccer-themed roster reveal party.

Sevilla left back Alex Telles, meanwhile, broke down in tears as he celebrated the achievement.

Brazil kicks off its World Cup campaign Nov. 24 against Serbia before facing Switzerland and Cameroon to complete the group.
