One of the United States’ most recognizable soccer talents may soon have a new home.

Juventus has emerged as the leading contender to sign winger and attacking midfielder Christian Pulisic away from Chelsea this summer, according to a Tuesday morning report from ESPN’s Mark Ogden.

Per Ogden, AC Milan, Galatasaray, Manchester United, Napoli and Newcastle have all contacted Chelsea to sound out Pulisic’s availability. The team is looking to shed salary after spending approximately $727 million on players in the last year under new ownership, with the 24-year-old Hershey, Pa. native tabbed to move out for a fee of about $24.9 million.

Pulisic, who began his career with Borussia Dortmund, has 20 career goals in 98 games with Chelsea since 2019. Internationally, he has earned 58 caps and scored 23 goals.

This season was a difficult one for Pulisic, as he played just 24 matches after a January knee injury. His eight starts marked his lowest total in seven years, and his one goal was a career low. Chelsea, meanwhile, finished 12th in the Premier League at 11-16-11 with 44 points.

In his first World Cup in 2022, Pulisic scored the lone goal in the United States’ 1–0 group-stage win over Iran.
