Spanish referee experiences emotional debut after recovering from cancer

David García de la Loma had been promoted to referee in the Segunda RFEF (Spanish fourth their), but was not able to make his debut because he was diagnosed with cancer and had to undergo an amputation in his right arm. After completing his recovery, he was able to experience his long-awaited debut in September 2022.
