Norwich vs Sunderland: Who is the referee?
Tim Robinson will be the referee for Sunderland's away trip to Norwich, the EFL have confirmed.
Robinson will be accompanied by Craig Taylor and Daniel Leach as his assistants, as well as Gavin Ward acting as fourth official for the Championship clash.
Tim Robinson is an official who will bring Premier League experience to Carrow Road this Sunday, having refereed in the top flight earlier this season in a match between Wolves and Tottenham.
The former PE teacher made his Football League debut during the 2011/12 season, after progressing through the Sussex leagues and various non-leagues.
Since then, the West Sussex-born referee has gone on to officiate 345 games across the three leagues in the EFL, as well as 48 matches in all domestic competitions in English football.
Robinson brings a wealth of experience in the Championship, with Sunday being his 223rd appearance in the second tier.
Robinson's record for Sunderland this season
Robinson has already been the man in the middle for four games involving Sunderland this season.
One of which was the reverse of this Sunday's fixture, when Sunderland hosted Norwich at the Stadium of Light in a 1-0 loss for the Black Cats back in August.
Sunderland's record under Robinson's officiating this season is two losses, one draw and one win.
Robinson has dished out 18 cards in those four games involving Sunderland, averaging 4.5 cards per game and sending off one player.
The sending off occurred in the 92nd minute of the away draw against Blackpool on New Year's day, where the home team's defender, Callum Connolly, received a second yellow card.
Robinson's overall record this season
Games: 30
Yellow cards: 109
Red cards: 6
Penalties awarded: 4
Cards per game: 3.83
