UEFA Sets Champions League Return For August 7th

After a five-month suspension due to the pandemic, UEFA Champions League men’s tournament returns in August with a 12-day tournament in Lisbon

After a five-month suspension due to the pandemic, UEFA Champions League men’s tournament returns in August with a 12-day tournament in Lisbon. After the remaining second legs from the Round of 16 starting on August 7, the Quarter Final stage will begin August 12 in the Portuguese capital and will play host for the remaining eight teams at two venues, according to UEFA’s executive committee. 

The final will be held at Estádio da Luz, the home of Benfica and it will be played on Sunday, August 23rd. The latest date that has ever been given in the tournament. As for the Women’s competition - it will take place in Spain in Bilbao and San Sebastian, beginning on August 21st. The tournament will consist of an eight-team mini-tournament with the final on August 30th.
