Pep Guardiola Congratulates Liverpool on Premier League Title

After 30 years, Liverpool wins Premier League Champions and Manchester City's Pep Guardiola congratulates them.

City's defeat at Chelsea on Thursday ensured Liverpool's victory! After a 30-year wait that was extended a little further by the coronavirus- Liverpool won the title of Premier League Champions. This win means Machester City must pass the crown. 

City's manager Pep Guardiola congratulated Liverpool on the brilliant Premier League title they achieved. Guardiola said, "congratulations to all liver pool fans, the coach and the players, they deserve it."

He also added “What we have done in the last three seasons is incredible,” reflecting on winning eight of the previous 10 domestic trophies on offer. He also noted it’s so difficult to maintain. Just two years ago Liverpool finished 25 points behind City. Now Guardiola's team fell 23 points behind Liverpool.

Liverpool's Jurgen Klopp said "We have to change from doubters to believers," and as the new Premier League champions think it's safe to say he's accomplished that
