Messi, Ronaldo Could Face off in UCL Semifinals

All five former Champions League winners were put into the same half of the UCL draw

The UEFA Champions League draw is complete.

All five former Champions League winners were put into the same half of the UCL draw on Friday as Real Madrid, Juventus, Barcelona, Chelsea, and Bayern Munich will pare down one side of the draw.

The other side will feature Atlético Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Atalanta and Leipzig.

The draw sets up for a possible semifinal showdown between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

Four quarterfinalists are still to be determined, with matches that include Man City, Barcelona, Bayern, Chelsea, Juve, and Real Madrid to be played August 7th and 8th.

The quarterfinal matches will be played on four straight evenings from Aug. 12-15 at a mini tournament in Portugal with the semifinals set to be played Aug. 17-18.
