NPPA Sports Photojournalist of the Year: Bob Martin

Sports Illustrated contributing photographer Bob Martin has won the prestigious title of Sports Photojournalist of the Year, awarded by the National Press Photographers Association. Martin is a sports photographer based in England. He has been awarded the title of British Sports Photographer of the Year three times and has won numerous photography contests including first place for sports at World Press Photo in 2005. He has photographed every major sporting event including the last thirteen Summer and Winter Olympic Games. Martin’s work has been published in Sports Illustrated, Time, Newsweek, Life, Paris Match, The Sunday Times and The New York Times.
