Donald Igwebuike: What happened to the former NFL kicker?

Where Are They Now? It's a question Sports Illustrated asks every year, and for one of those incredible stories, it starts in Enugu, Nigeria, the home of Donald Igwebuike and where he began his career as a soccer player. He eventually made it to Clemson and all the way to the NFL.

He was one of the most accurate kickers in the NFL in the 1990 season and then was charged with smuggling conspiracy. Although he was later acquitted, Igwebuike's reputation was tarnished and he never played for the NFL again.
